A few days ago, John, Grace, and I had the fabulous pleasure of trying out Karipori from Kabaya. What the heck is Karipori? Well, it’s this super-tasty, cola-flavored candy that gets a little fizzy in your mouth.

Okay, let’s get to the judging, shall we? 🙂
The thoughts from the family….
Grace (the 15-year-old):
Yasssss! Grace loved the cola flavored candies (she didn’t care for the grape soda ones, but she doesn’t like grape flavored anything, so I’m not holding that against the candy) and super-loved that the candy gets a bit fizzy as you eat it. She also had a lot of fun with the puzzles on the wrappers…”spot the differences” seemed to be her favorite. 🙂
For fun and tastiness, Grace gave Karipori…
9 out of 10 Yums!
John (the husband):
John loved these, too! (Even more than Grace since he liked both the cola and grape soda flavors.) He also had a lot of fun with the wrappers…he enjoyed the puzzles, but his real joy came from trying to translate and make sense of the jokes. (Google was hard at work in our house that night.) 😉
For taste and entertainment, John gave Karipori…
9.5 out of 10 Yums!
I am not ashamed to admit that I thought this stuff was delicious (both flavors), and the fizziness amused me greatly. 🙂 I was also enchanted with the puzzles (and the cute characters) on the wrappers…because mazes and stuff are fun, y’all!
My overall opinion?
9.5 out of 10 Yums!
9.3333……. out of 10 Yums!
(And, suddenly, I’m finding myself wondering what the best way to get that little bar that indicates a repeating decimal to show up in blog posts. Hmmmmm.) 😉
What about you? Have you tried Karipori? What about other fun snacks…have you had anything neat recently? Do you have any suggestions for future Adventure Snacks for my dear little family to try? Let me know in the comments!
Interested in more Adventure Snacks? Check back in two weeks…I’ll be adding new snacks every other week. I’ll also be revisiting some snacks that we’ve tried before, but the posts were lost in The Great Blog Shift of 2016. 😉
If you’d like to try Karipori for your very own self, I did find this large box of it for under $20.
