Three Things Thursday: Happy Mail, GPS Easter Eggs, Pretty Flowers, & A Bonus Baby Goose

Welcome back to Three Things Thursday, a way to fill your blogs and social media with the happy!

Three Things Thursday is a simple concept that everyone is encouraged to play along with. All it requires is listing three (or more!) things that are making your life awesome. Please note! The three things you choose each week do not need to be big, huge, mighty, impressive things. In fact, I think it’s much better to focus on smaller, sillier things…because focusing on those little bits of joy and the gigglesnorts that they bring…well, that’s where day-to-day contentment lives, I believe.

So, how do you participate? Easy as falling off a log! Whip up a blog post about three things that are making you smile…then share it on the link up in this post. Don’t want to do a whole blog post? Feel free to post some pictures on Facebook or Instagram! If you tag me in your pictures, I 100% promise to give them appropriate love.❤

Just one more thing! Three Things Thursday posts actually don’t need to be done on Thursdays! I leave the link up active for the whole week every week…so you can be grateful on your own schedule.🙂

Okay, here we goooooo…

Kay, the fabulous blogger behind My Open Sketchbook, has this awesome project called Happy Mail where she picks a person who has signed up, creates a fantastic piece of art, and mails it out. Earlier this week, I got this 100% awesome drawing of Frank! So many squeeeeees! For right now, the picture is still in its plastic and being displayed on the refrigerator…until I figure out the very best way to permanently display it. 😀 (Kay is wonderful, and you should definitely check out her blog!) 🙂

John and I had a great time at the GPS Easter Egg Hunt last Saturday! I wish someone would set up one of these things every single weekend! 🙂 Here’s the first cluster of eggs we found on our hunt:

I know it’s Spring (and quickly hopping into Summer) for real now that the wisteria vines are doing their thing. I can’t wait until they go into full bloom…such a ruckus of purple and green! 😀

I did post this on Instagram earlier this week, but how can I not share it here, too??? I totally got to hold and pet a baby goose! An adorable, fuzzy-wuzzy, super-sweet baby goose! He was a little too frisky for me to get a selfie with, but his human was kind enough to hold him while I snapped his picture. His name is Pim, and he is fabulous! 😀

And go ahead and grab a badge while you’re at it…because badges are awesome!🙂

What’s putting a smile on your face this week? Share your gigglesnorts!😀 I would love, love, love to hear all about the awesome bits of life that are making you feel warm and fuzzy.

Oh, this post made me smile. Especially Pim. So grateful!

Isn’t Pim just fabulous?!? 😀 I’m pretty sure I need about a million baby geese in my life. 😉 So glad the post brought smiles to your face!

Yay, I’m so glad the Frank drawing made it to you safely! 🙂 I’m having such fun with this little project.

That baby goose just looks so soft and fuzzy! And I adore that his name is Pim. So much cute!

Your project is definitely working! Much happiness was brought to our house with your Frank drawing! 🙂 (We spent quite a while telling Frank that he’s made it to the big time now because he’s had his “portrait” done by a read artist…he’s handling the fame quite well, though he is being a little more demanding about treats.) 😀

I can’t wait to see pictures from your trip!!! I hope you have an absolutely amazing time!

That baby goose is just the cutest thing! 😍 The GPS hunt sounds like a great idea too, I’d love to do one of those!
